RDWU focus on research that aims to produce and disseminate information and technical expertise through high-quality research for the benefit of people and society. While the number of significant inputs that go into research at the university cannot be measured, some of the deliverables include funds received from extramural sources, research grants, research-based course curriculums, research supervision by faculty members, and the number of students enrolled in postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The research output can be quantified based on quality publications, patents, research consultancies, MoUs, innovation and entrepreneurships.
