About

Student Welfare Office at a university plays a crucial role in supporting students' overall well-being and enhancing their academic and personal experiences. This unit is the mirror of the University through which the administration can see the students and students can see the administration. Here are some of the key functions of the committee:

The committee advocates for students, addressing grievances and ensuring that students’ rights are upheld within the University.
It promotes and facilitates the participation of the students in extracurricular activities, including clubs, organizations, and events that enhance students' university experience.
The committee provides advice and guidance to students regarding the availability of events taking place on campus and assist the organisation of social activities/events for students.
The committee coordinates the counselling services, mental health support, and workshops to address stress, anxiety, and other emotional or psychological concerns for the students.
This committee encourages the students to make their constructive journey, stimulate young minds, and bring out inquisitiveness, passion, and the thirst for acquiring versatility in the various frontiers of students' life for the overall development of their personality as a conscientious citizen of our society.
Within this framework, we organize various activities, seminars, workshops to improve the skills of the interested students. For the holistic development of our students, Co-curricular Activities are organized throughout the year.

RDWU organizes different literary and cultural activities among the students of its under-graduates and post-graduates departments and affiliated/constitution colleges every year.

Annual Activity includes:

Induction Programme for the freshers
Celebration of International Women’s Day
Organization of annual Literary and Cultural meet
Organization of annual Vishwavidyalaya & University Cup debate competitions
Organization of Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
Organization of Ani-ragging awareness programme

Overall, the Student Welfare Office aims to create a supportive environment that helps students thrive academically, personally, and socially.
