Rama Devi Women's University, the only Women's University of the state, has 48 affiliated women's colleges under its jurisdiction. The sports activities and tournaments of the University shall be opened to all the colleges affiliated to/managed by the University. This will be governed by a body called the 'Sports Council'.
1. To develop the sports eco-system and manage various kinds of sports activities including adventure sports.
2. To promote interest in games and competitive sports spirit among the female students in the University and in its 48 affiliated women’s degree and autonomous colleges.
3. To mentor students by inculcating values & leadership skills in them by providing diverse opportunities.
4. To collaborate with its internal and various external stakeholders including the government, sports federations/associations and Universities and colleges in India.
