Quality Education is the need of the hour. For providing quality education to the women students of the State, P.G. Department of Education was established in 2018 in Rama Devi Women’s University. Being an infant Department in its present frame offers Ph.D (Education), two-year Master of Arts in Education (M.A. in Education) with 48 seats, U.G. Education Honours with 48 seats, and two-year B.Ed. programme (Self-finance) with one unit of 50 seats. The curriculum of M.A. in Education of this Department is a unique of its kind that caters the needs of the learners. It has been designed with a desired set of learning outcomes based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. Innovative Pedagogies such as Concept Map technique, Flipped Learning, M-Learning, etc are practised. One paper i.e., Pedagogical Perspectives in Education is offered as an Open Elective for all students across disciplines under CBCS. The Department practises Advanced Learning Exposures (ALE) such as UGC-NET Coaching, Group dynamics, Team Building, Mentoring etc. B.Ed. syllabus prescribed by the TE & SCERT, Odisha, School and Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha has been adopted by the Department and it is being followed. State Model Syllabus is being followed UG Education Honours & Electives.
