The introduction of the self-service KIOSK facility is a notable step towards library automation. Users are provided with RFID-enabled identity cards, which help them to issue, return, or renew books without taking any assistance from the library staff.
The RFID Library Management System enables easier transactions and perfectly secures all library resources.
The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) has been created for all existing resources in the library and is accessible online using KOHA software for automation. The usage of the OPAC facility enables users to search and access institutional databases, publisher’s databases, e-books, e-journals, and more.
