About Department
The Department of Life Sciences was established in the year 2015 with postgraduate course Life Science with an intake capacity of 32 students. In 2017 the department offered M. Phil course with an intake of 8 students. In the year 2018 newly, recruited faculties joined the department.
Vision
- The department of Life Sciences of the first women’s university of the state will be leader in acquiring fundamental and applied knowledge of living world, both plants and animals, to improve the health of this planet.
- We will work towards integrating quality education and research so that students not only learn but also contribute towards understanding of life.
