Maa Ram Devi Museum is an integral part of Rama Devi Women’s University. It is an asset for us where we are preserving the legacy of Maa Rama Devi for generations to come. This will enhance the experience of the students, faculties, guests and visitors coming to RDWU and will also add to the reputation and growth of our university.
Maa Rama Devi Museum will serve as a tribute to Rama Devi's contribution and will offer valuable insights into her life and the historical context of her journey. It will provide a platform for preserving heritage, promoting education, inspiring future generations, facilitating research and promoting cultural exchange.
Maa Rama Devi Museum was set up by Maa Rama Devi Chair on the Foundation Day, with the existing collection and also photographs and exhibits obtained during field visits to places like Inchudi and Srijung in Balasore and Satyabhamapur in Cuttack district, which were associated with the life and works of Maa Rama Devi. The new museum was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha.
