About the Centre

The CURIE-Central Instrumentation Facility (CCIF) was established at Rama Devi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar in the year 2020 with support through the CURIE programme of Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. This program aims at establishing infrastructure for promoting teaching and advance research and development in the Women’s University. The CCIF-RDWU have instruments and equipments which are operated and maintained by a qualified group of scientists from the Dept. of Biotechnology, Dept. of Life Science and Dept of Computer Science of the University. The facility is open to all the students, researchers, faculty members and technical persons from universities, affiliated colleges, institutions and industries.

Objectives of the Centre

To facilitate the research environment through creation of appropriate facilities that will bring out the creative scientific temperament among the faculty and students of the University.
To improvised the existing PG academic programmes of the participating depts to make it more practical and analytical in attributes.

To Establish a cutting-edge instrumentation facility for excellence in research in the filed of basic and applied sciences

Mission

To provide a holistic environment for optimized utilization of scientific infrastructure to enhance the quality of research analysis and outcomes
