The Art Gallery in RDWU was established by Maa Rama Devi Chair in the New Auditorium. This art gallery is a new innovation to preserve the memories and legacy of Maa Rama Devi for posterity. The Art gallery consists of portraits and pictures related to Maa Rama Devi and her life. The Art gallery was inaugurated on 29th Aug, 2023 by Prof. Aparajita Chowdhury, the esteemed Vice-Chancellor of RDWU in presence of Smt. Shyamali Mohapatra, Registrar, Prof. Chandi Charan Rath, CPGC, Dr. Mamata Mohanty, Controller of Examination, Prof. Sucheta Priyabadini, Chair Professor MRDC along with other faculties of RDWU.
The gallery consists of portraits of Maa Rama Devi, made by celebrated women artists of Odisha during the Art Workshop held by MRDC in the month of July. These rare pictures related to Maa, her early life, family, home and her role in freedom movement are collected and curated by Maa Rama Devi Chair.
